Our estate
comprises in the heart of the world-famous Goldtropfchen vineyard near the village of Piesport. In use since Roman times, this very steep vineyard produces outstanding fruity dry wines and noble sweet desert wines.

This is also a special site with
loamy slate soil. Set on a steep south and southwest facing slope, it produces equally outstanding wines. At the top of the vineyard, we’ve planted a small area with the Reichensteiner

The site was classified some 100 years ago as a ‘1st’ Growth. We use the grapes from this vineyard to make either Traben Gaispfad trocken (dry) or Auslese HARMONIE, both of which are excellent dinner wines. |
